PeeVira (The Fringy Mime Queen) is an award winning entertainer that combines the art of pantomime with drag through skits, parodies and lip-synching in a variety of shows. Born from her love for PeeWee Herman and Elvira, this "Queen of Fringe" presents a versatile repertoire that is silly, spooky, strange and sensational. She is inspired by peevish personalities, horror comedy and pop culture.

Since 2011, she has received an honest fan base allowing her to create a humble core within the drag and entertainment community. PeeVira has won several awards and received critical acclaim at fringe festivals throughout the country with her theatrical fringy shows. She has also performed at several bars, clubs and conventions. These credits include: Vault 5421 Bar, Sun on the Beach Bar, Pulse Nightclub, Spooky Empire, Tampa Bay Comic Con, Florida SuperCon, Villicon, The LGBTQ Center of Orlando, AIDS Walk Orlando, Come Out with Pride Orlando, Orlando International Fringe Festival, Fort Lauderdale Fringe Festival, Hartford Fringe Festival, Oregon Fringe, Camden Fringe and the Austin International Drag Festival. She even made a cameo on America's Got Talent.

Created and played by Aj Prats, PeeVira is a solid theatrical hoot, sure to bring delight to those who witness her special events, revues and game shows.

ABOUT THE BEAUTY

For over twenty years, Aj Prats has been a pioneer in the Thespian community. After studying at MDCC with a major in Drama Education, he became the Founding Artistic Director of the CGYC Children’s Theatre. He designed and directed "The Wizard of Oz", "Stand and Deliver", "The Sound of Music" and "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" to name a few. He later went on to work with After School All-Stars. There, he earned much success as a theater programming developer and moved on to become the first ever drama teacher at Hebrew Academy.

In 2001 he became the Founding President and Producing Artistic Director of DulceArt Works Inc., a non-profit performing and visual arts organization. Since this time he has produced several productions through the DulceArt Works umbrella that include "Othello", "The Groom’s Ghost", "The Miracle Worker", "Annie", "Popeye The Musical", "Disney’s Cinderella", "Disney’s Sleeping Beauty" and many more.

In 2010, he moved to LA where he trained with The Groundlings Comedy Theatre in West Hollywood, CA. His quest was to refine his comedic skills to create material for his alter ego persona, PeeVira.

Currently, Aj lives in Orlando FL. He furthers his contribution to the arts by continuing his mission in the DulceArt Works organization and developing new projects.
